Something about this tune makes me feel regret ... some sense of loss. What's it about? Or what was going on when you wrote it? Or am I just off in the ozone layer as always?

Very beautiful and poignant piece, especially after reading what "summer snow" means.
Excellent musicianship, the guitar and flute(?) blend perfectly to paint a real picture in my mind.
This could easily be used on TV. As I was listening I imagined it in the background of a documentary show - it would have to be a show based on nature though, because the music just lends itself so perfectly to that overall feeling of reconnecting with the world around us.
Clapping I loved it.

I am so in Love with this track already, it conjures up beautiful landscapes & heartfelt dreams, an old country scene out of a Thomas Hardy novel & yet it also has the beautiful celtic touch.
This track is so moving, one that can be heard over & over, the more you hear the more you love Love
The whole arrangement is so well thought of to come up with a masterpiece like this.
I adore the sound of the oboe & the beautiful guitar playing, lovely warm synths so heavenly.
Gary I truly Love this track & will be playing it for ever

This has the soft feeling of a colored pencil drawing. Quite pastoral and utterly gorgeous.
Fantastic ambience and totally beautiful tones on the guitar.
Enjoyed this!

That flute is just perfect. This makes me want to do the whole running through the meadow thing, beneath the shadow of a snow-capped mountain... almost. But I think I prefer to sit with my headphones on, and a nice tall drink at hand, and just listen... It was well worth waiting for, Gary.

This has kind of a medieval folk influence to it that I really love - it really takes the listener to another time and place. Another beautiful dreamy song Cloud 9

In either case, I know I've said this before...you make some beautiful music.

getting a second play and not just because my firewall crashed near the end, cutting the song short. Laughing My Arse Off

the one thing i don't like is you saying to me "when i reach your level" because with music like this, i think you are a mile above me. this is relaxing, chilled out and has an emotional feel to it... and that guitar is real at least! :P (Razz)

any chance of a longer "stairway to heaven" style version? Groovin Star

Love the wind work.Find the track inspirational and full of longing type chord progressions.A bit of hiss on the first guitar recording ,but I sure liked the tone on it.Great piece.

I've heard some awesome guitar riffs and jamming but I must say that this song is my favorite. It demonstrated that talented musicians are capable of jumping genres at the bat of an eye. The ambient, Celtic sounds attract me to this beautiful picture of nature. As Fra mentioned in his comments, this instrumental would be perfect for a nature documentary and that is a good thing.
